Preparing for the Festival of Quilts 2018

We're getting ready to head to the Festival of Quilts!

We absolutely love the Festival of Quilts. It's such a fun opportunity for us to meet quilters, stitchers and makers. Our frames will be there to try out, and we'll be on hand to chat to you and talk you through how it works. It's actually really amazing to see people's reactions when they try the frame for the first time - "it's so easy!" "wow, just like doodling!" Even better is when we start to take it apart right in front of people and their jaws just DROP; nobody believes it can be assembled and disassembled oh-so-easily in under 5 minutes until they see it! It's great to see how much joy a good piece of kit can bring, and we love getting to have conversations with everyone about the frames and the different quilting projects they might use it for - you guys are just FULL of creative ideas and it's amazing to be a part of that.

Our threads will be available on our stand to browse and buy too. We stock large cones of Superior Threads as well as a range of their bobbins, all of which are just perfect for machine quilting and come in a whole host of beautiful colours.
