Getting Ready for the Festival of Quilts 2017

We’re busy getting ready for the Festival of Quilts. We love the show! The fun of preparations, planning projects, ordering threads, designing handouts and editing film reels. We look forward to the buzz when we get there on the Wednesday and greet the familiar faces of the other stall holders and show staff. Summer Fruits

Our Cherries and Strawberries Sunshine Boxes and Moonshine Bags went out this week. Each month when I put together the Sunshine Boxes I think it’s my favourite. We really did enjoy putting this one together. The Sunshine Box has a retro cherry theme; very 1950’s American diner. Christmas in July: a Juki Club LIVE Event

During our Christmas in July event last weekend we celebrated summer and got ready for Christmas at the same time! The venue was the Franklins sewing shop in Colchester. Besides a massive selection of Juki sewing machines, Franklins have everything for the quilter and stitcher; a superb selection of fabrics, yarns and sewing & quilting gadgets.
